A Symposium on Gifted Education

On Sunday, October 15, 2023 Harvard Alumni for Education (HAEd) and the Massachusetts Association for Gifted Education (MAGE) present the Symposium on Gifted Education in Gutman Conference Center.

  • Do you know why gifted education is an equity issue?

  • Do you have a learner who is sensitive to noise, smells, tags on clothes or just plain sensitive?

Please come to hear why Gifted Education may not be what you think it is. Discover how to identify and meet the needs of Gifted and Twice Exceptional (2E) Learners and how addressing the needs of gifted learners decreases the equity gap. You'll learn so much and be connected to a wonderful community of learners and leading sector experts in the field.

  • Breakfast, lunch, snacks with coffee, tea and Reception with Hors d'Oeuvres.

  • If you're a teacher, you can earn 10 PDPs!

  • There will be a kids program as well (Ages 5-12).

  • Special guest keynote speaker, Massachusetts Commissioner of Education, Jeff Riley, HGSE Alum.

  • Notable Speaker and HGSE Academic Dean, Prof. Martin West.

  • MAGE is sponsoring a reduced rate for Harvard Students $25 from $135  (ids checked at door).
